The "e-Seminar" was created to help people who work with power ICs deepen their understanding of Torex power ICs, one of our key products.
The e-Seminar targets people who require a knowledge of power ICs in a wide range of fields, including those who develop power devices, those who market power devices, and new employees. It describes the basic operation of power ICs and explains terminology such as "Ripple Rejection Ratio" and "load transient response characteristics" using easy-to-understand animations, and is an ideal entry educational tool for developing a fundamental knowledge and understanding of power ICs.
The contents are divided into two sections, one on voltage regulators and one on DC/DC converters. The playback time of the voltage regulator section is 38 minutes, and the playback time of the DC/DC converter section is 31 minutes. Japanese, English, and Chinese versions are available, and login to club TOREX is required to view to the seminar.
The seminar can also be viewed on the Web or downloaded, and for this Flash Player 7.0 is required. The size of the download file is 24 MB for the voltage regulator section, and 21 MB for the DC/DC converter section. The entire seminar can be viewed at once, or you can just view individual sections. For details, see "Screen Operation".
